With the right gear, you can ride in most weather.
Rain
- Fenders keep spray off you
- A waterproof jacket and pants or a rain cape
- Brake earlier; wet brakes take longer to work
- Be careful on painted lines, metal covers and leaves
Cold
- Layers you can adjust
- Warm gloves and a thin hat under your helmet
- Cover your face and ears on very cold days
- Avoid riding on ice
